It depends on what I&#8217;m making and what materials are being used.\u00a0 It also depends on the timeline.<\/p><p>~<\/p><p><strong>Q: Can you make a costume if there&#8217;s no sewing pattern for it?<\/strong><\/p><p>A: Yes! I can create my own sewing patterns from scratch.<\/p><p>~<\/p><p>Q: How long does it take to have a costume made?<\/p><p>A: This depends on the complexity of the costume and on my work availability. It can be anywhere from a few weeks to several months. It&#8217;s best to contact me about a commission at least 4 months before you want it finished.<\/p><p>~<\/p><p><strong>Q: How much does your work cost?<\/strong><\/p><p>A: I bill two different ways for my work, depending on what I&#8217;m doing.<\/p><p>For individual commissions, I usually charge by the hour, and my hourly rate ranges from $40 to $60 per hour, depending on the complexity of the work needed. At the beginning of a large project, I&#8217;ll give the client a total quote based on how many hours I expect to work.
